Introduction to O.T.O. and E.G.C. – 15th July 2017

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Cúchulainn Oasis will host a day of introductory material on Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) and Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica (E.G.C.) on Saturday 15th July 2017 e.v. in Dublin City Centre.

O.T.O. is an international magical fraternity that performs regular private ceremonial initiations into its mysteries. The ecclesiastical wing of O.T.O., known as E.G.C., performs a Eucharistic ritual, Liber XV – The Gnostic Mass, which is the central public and private ritual of O.T.O. and E.G.C.

This event will consist of:

2:30pm – 4:30pm: A practical workshop on Liber XV – The Gnostic Mass

4:30pm – 4:45pm: Short break and informal discussion

4:45pm – 5:30pm: A talk on the Magick of O.T.O. and E.G.C., including a historical account of both groups, and a description of the initiatory structure of O.T.O. and the rituals of E.G.C.

5:30pm – 6:30pm: Socializing, informal discussions, and light snacks.

The event will take place at a location in Dublin City Centre. It is open to all members of O.T.O. and E.G.C. in good standing. Members who wish to attend should contact the Oasis Secretary, confirming their attendance in advance.

The event is also open to invited guests, who are non-members with a sincere interest in learning more about O.T.O. and/or E.G.C.

Non-members who wish to attend should email info@oto-ie.org or send a message to our Facebook page requesting an invitation to attend. Please note that the issuance of invitations is at the sole discretion of the Oasis Master.

Attendees are welcome to attend any portion of the day, but are asked to signify in advance if they are unable to attend the full day and to state their expected arrival time.

O.T.O. is a voluntary organisation funded by donations. There is no admission charge for this event, although attendees are politely requested to give a donation to assist with the expenses associated with the event.

The suggested normal donation for such events is €10, while for unwaged/students it is €5 – although any donation is accepted.

Attendees may also contribute to the snacks and refreshments table instead of (or even in addition to) giving a financial donation – contributions containing any allergens MUST be clearly indicated.

Love is the law, love under will.
